National Accounts Manager Discusses How to Save Money and Keep Linens On-Site

Craig Madson, UniMac®'s National Accounts Manager, provides advice for facility managers on how to save money by keeping laundry operations on-site in American Laundry News' August issue. In the article, "How to Save Money and Keep Your Linen On-site," Madson weighs the pros and cons of switching from an on-premise laundry to a linen service by discussing decision-making factors, such as cost differences, quality control and equipment selection.

"If your business launders 1,200 pounds of linen a day, the average total cost for on-site laundry for a year is $135,845, while a linen service for the same period would cost, on average, $209,664, a difference of $73,819," states Madson.
