UniMac’s® North American Sales Manager Shares Health, Safety Benefits of Fire Station OPLs

FireRescue1, an online resource for fire service professionals worldwide, has featured “A Case for Cleaning Firefighting Gear on Premise” written by Bill Brooks, UniMac’s® North American Sales Manager and captain of the Berlin, Wisconsin fire department. Brooks provides insight into the success of two fire departments’ on-premises laundry operations. The Fort Worth Fire Department and Milwaukee Fire Department have experienced significant savings after implementing in-house inspection capabilities and installing UniMac equipment. However, the real advantage is the enhanced ability to quickly decontaminate gear for a proper cleaning that meets the National Fire Protection Association’s regulations.
