Alliance expert weighs in for article on AI

Artificial Intelligence or AI has quickly become part of our everyday lexicon. However, its meaning and impact on on-premises laundry operations and equipment is, in a word, varied. In general terms, AI refers to the ability of technology to adapt and employ human decision making or logic to perform repeatable tasks.

AI is the topic of a recent article that American Laundry News published on its website. Bill Brooks, director of customer solutions and business development for Alliance Laundry Systems, joined other industry experts in providing input on the subject.

In the article, Brooks said, “An on-premises laundry (OPL) is not a great setting for expensive robotics, but it is a very good example of how analytic data can provide great operational savings.”

UniMac technology is focused on helping on-premises laundry managers get an overall view of their laundry and use data to predict performance or head off issues before they occur.
