CLEC offers no-contact service calls

With safety on everyone’s mind and clean laundry being more important than ever, the folks at CLEC, a factory-direct distributor for Speed Queen and UniMac, wanted to let customers know how they are going above and beyond.

In a recent video, Mike Hand, general manager at CLEC in Houston shared how the company is continuing to service Texas and Gulf Coast customers from its Dallas, Houston and Gulf Breeze, Fla. offices.

CLEC is leveraging video conference technology tools to offer no-contact service calls and assist customers in troubleshooting, parts ordering and installation. If service technicians make an on-site call, they are equipped with PPE to protect themselves and anyone in the laundry/facility. In addition, to better serve customers during these tight financial times, CLEC has eliminated the trip charge for service calls.
