Gear cleaning company delivers in a big way at FDIC 

Another FDIC is in the books and through conversations at the events, it’s clear that the firefighting industry has made tremendous strides in the emphasis placed on the importance of clean bunker gear and the need to have policies in place to ensure cleaning/regular inspection are occurring. 

Nowhere was that more apparent than outside where crews from Redline Gear Cleaning did seemingly the impossible – cleaning and repairing gear of firefighters, who were participating in live burn training. All told, close to a thousand sets of gear were cleaned and inspected. Even more inspiring was the speed of the effort. Redline crews were able to return PPE to firefighters the next day following training. 

 This turnout gear cleaning effort was a first for the event.
