Washer-extractors are the backbone of any on-premises laundry operation. Over the years, the machines have become loaded with a variety of features to deliver high quality results. But while they have the potential to produce excellent results, there’s far more to the equation than loading up the cylinder and hitting start.

In the latest episode of the American Laundry News Podcast, Josh Steinhardt, sales development manager of on-premises laundry at Alliance Laundry Systems, joins host, Matt Poe to discuss effective washer-extractor usage.

Steinhardt, who has more than 20 years of laundry experience, notes that focusing on process is paramount to getting the desired finished results. Sorting steps, particularly by soil level and like items, combined with the proper cycle selection to fit both elements are imperative, Steinhardt said.
