We are thrilled to announce that UniMac, the leader in commercial laundry equipment for on-premises applications, has donated state-of-the-art laundry machinery to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. This donation, through parent company Alliance Laundry Systems and its philanthropic arm – Alliance Laundry Cares, comes as a supportive effort to aid our brave firefighters in the essential task of laundering personal protective equipment (PPE) following the recent devastating wildfires.

Los Angeles area wildfires were among the most damaging the state has ever seen, and Los Angeles firefighters worked tirelessly to protect lives and property. Clean, effective PPE is a critical component of their safety and effectiveness. As a leader in the laundry industry, UniMac’s advanced, high-capacity machines ensure that this crucial gear is sanitized efficiently and thoroughly in accordance with NFPA 1851 guidelines, and returned to service fast, allowing our firefighters to focus on what they do best — protecting and serving our communities.

We are proud to stand by the Los Angeles fire crews and are committed to supporting their invaluable work. Through this donation, it is our hope to ease some of the challenges they face and ensure they have the resources necessary to maintain safety and readiness.

UniMac extends its deepest gratitude to all firefighters and first responders for their unwavering dedication and courage.
