UniMac was green before green became trendy 

As we celebrate Earth Day 2024 it’s always a great time to reflect on the progress all of us have made in our individual efforts toward conservation and, obviously, recommit to the idea that we can all do even more.

UniMac has always prided itself on being at the forefront of leveraging technology to conserve resources, which ultimately helps our products deliver the lowest cost of ownership.  So, as we mark Earth Day 2024, it’s our pleasure to share a few of our product features and their Earth-friendly benefits.

ProCapture. Our newest innovation essentially ends the issue of lint being sent out into the environment, by capturing nearly 98 percent of dryer generated lint. The end result is a cleaner environment…but there’s more. Lint that goes into the environment often ends up in HVAC systems, severely impacting their efficiency and leading to costly repairs or replacement. ProCapture eliminates those issues as well.

OPTispray. This industry-exclusive feature helps conserve water versus full-cylinder bath rinses. Think the difference between taking a shower compared to a bath. The feature also saves cycle time.

OPTidry. Continuing to dry a load after it is already dry wastes utilities and wears out linens prematurely. Our highly accurate OPTidry eliminates this all-too-frequent laundry issue by drying to a preset moisture level and beginning the cooldown process. The technology saves utilities and ensures linens wear as long as possible.

Ultra-high G-Force extraction. With spin speeds around 400 G-Force, loads emerge from our wsher-extractors almost dry and require only minimal drying – that saves utilities.
