UniMac’s NFPA 1851 total laundry solution will be displayed at FRI and FDIC
UniMac is gearing up to participate as an exhibitor at two upcoming fire industry trade shows – Fire-Rescue International (FRI) and FDIC International. Each will be taking place this summer.
- FRI – July 28-31 in Charlotte, NC, Booth 13109
- FDIC – Aug. 5-7 in Indianapolis, Booth 2104
UniMac will be showing machines and systems that, along with industry-leading training, combine for a total solution to NFPA 1851 compliance. That total solution starts with the UW washer-extractor with UniLinc control and tailored fire cycles, as well as our PPE Drying Cabinet that reduces drying time to get firefighters back to work with clean gear, fast.
The FireLinc™ system further simplifies adhering to 1851 requirements for tracking gear. With a few button taps and a scan of gear barcodes, it seamlessly connects UniMac equipment and PPE to log activities. FireLinc sorts by equipment ID and location, and tracks what machine (and cycle) is used. It easily exports wash history to a spreadsheet for easy tracking.
As a total solution partner for the fire industry, UniMac completes the package with industry-leading training, ensuring all staff are able to clean gear to NFPA 1851 standards, even offering a certification option in partnership with a leading Independent Service Provider.
Compromising health and safety isn’t an option, and UniMac is dedicated to serving the fire industry with laundry machinery that will not only safely clean gear fast, but provide an easy, state-of-the-art experience to ensure the job gets done right.
